As an organization, we made the decison this year to expand our winter workout training and take advantage of an opportunity to access the Torne Valley Bubble in Hillburn, NY.  While our access times are not the greatest, overall our players have seem to really embrace this.

Our first few weeks all ofg our levels had assigned times and were able to run, in many cases, what would be full field/ scale indoor workouts.  Over the last 2 weeks we hosted indoor games for our younger levels…on 1/12 our 2006 14U played against our 2007 12U.  Last night, our 2008 12U played against the 2007 OC Bombers.  Was a great benchmark game for all as our coaches can see how their facitlity training is going.  Further, I have umpiredf all games and have been able to see all of our players and coaches in action.  It has been a great experience and we will grow as an organization.

Our 10u-14U Black levels still have some indoor tournament games upcoming…live pitching or actual game speed will not be foreign to them,  Our 18U players have 2-3 Danbury games left…hopefully they embrace and take advantage of them.

I am proud of the effort I have seen the past 2 weeks in the indoor scrimmages, and thank you to the parents for making the time work,  I think overall all kids were home and in bed by 10pm.

We will continue to enhance the overall indoor experience for our players so they can maximize their opportunities and get better and better.
