Hitters: Think about the situation when you get into the batters box. How many outs? Where are the corners playing? Is 3rd base open? Remember what you are coached to do. It’s ok to make an out but put the ball in play, move runners over, get runs in. DON’T look for walks. Get your name in the paper. Umpires will call you out on strikes a majority of the time.
River approach with 2 strikes and less than 2 outs. Be a great teammate and ove runners along. That’s what separates good teams and great teams…average players and good/ great players.
