We started the "Northern Valley" Vipers in 2012 as a 12U summer travel team.   We saw the "revolving door" of players with various "club" teams and believed our program and philosophies would be a destination spot for what many players were chasing.

In 2013, we dipped our toes in the water of club ball with a Vipers "Black" team.   This was an invite-only team to play 14U on the regional club circuit.  We invited kids that we knew or played against in travel and club arenas and formed what has become the North Jersey Vipers.   Our players were from Mahwah, Old Tappan, Fair Lawn &  Ridgefield.

In 2014/15, we expanded to 5 teams at multiple levels.  With all of this enthusiasm, we committed to an indoor facility build out.

Our Viper brand, style of play and engagement spread through the Bergen County softball circuit and by 2015 we were up to 7 teams.  In 2016 we grew to what is now an 8 team organization.  We range between 7 and 8 teams per year

Over this time, we have won countless tournaments, 3 state championships, placed in the top ten 5 times in "Nationals" tournaments...finishing as high as 2nd twice.  We have played in hundreds of college showcase games and have sent players off to continue their careers in college for the past 4 years.

Our gilrs have gone on to lead their HS teams to league, county and state champiopnships.  We have had several players earn All League, All County and All State honors.

We are committed to these girls and their parents...it is our passion for softball that makes us do this.   This is our opportunity to "pay it forward" and continue to make Northern NJ (and the lower hudson valley) one of the premier places to play softball in the Northeast.

Our players are what makes us great!

Play Hard...Play Smart...Go Vipers!
